Up Your Game Clinics – Raising Funds for the TO Hope Charity Bonspiel
The clinics will be run by Sue Baird, Charlene Durant, Karen Gareau and Anne Collins. Each sheet will have a different focus with 8 curlers per sheet, Detect & Correct, Sweeping (weight judgement, directional and stop watches), skipping (strategy, line calling, and stop watches). Make sure to let us know what you would like to focus on, on the day. All proceeds will be going to our fundraising efforts for the TO Hope Bonspiel supporting The Odette Centre at Sunnybrook Hospital.

This beginners clinic is a fun and informative introduction to the sport of curling. Over the course of this two-hour session, participants will learn the basics, including how to deliver a rock and how to sweep effectively.

Gordon Glazebrook Bonspiel 2026
Dixie has been proud to host the Glazebrook bonspiel in the fall for many years. The bonspiel is in honour of Gordon Glazebrook, a long-time Dixie member and one of Dixie’s original founders.
Traditionally the bonspiel was for senior men only but in the last few years we have welcomed teams consisting of male and/or female members.
The bonspiel has 2 divisions – the Junior Division for teams whose members are 50 years or older as of the date of the bonspiel, and the Senior Division for teams whose members are 65 years or older and whose minimum total team age is 280.
This year’s bonspiel will be held on Wednesday November 11th and have 2 draws at 8:30 and 10:30. All teams will play two 8-end games with a meal served between the first and second games.

Adult Learn-to-Curl (LTC) 5-week program 18+
Session C: Sunday mornings at 9:30am November 15 - December 20
During the 5-week program, participants will learn the basics of the game, the curling delivery and sweeping skills from our instructors.

Ready to take the next step in your curling journey?
Our 6-week Novice League is designed for curlers who have completed a Learn-to-Curl program or participated in one of our Novice sessions during the 2025–26 season and are eager for more time on the ice. Now it’s time to build on those skills in a fun, supportive league environment.
What’s Included:
- Weekly league play with other novice-level curlers
- On-ice coaching to support strategy, delivery, and sweeping
- Learn all positions with in-game rotational play
- Meet new people with our weekly team shake-ups
Curling is a sport that rewards practice, teamwork, and curiosity. This league gives you the chance to keep growing—all while having fun with fellow curlers who are on the same path.

Dixie Belle 2026/27
Dixie Belle’s CASINO ROYALE is a one-day trophy Bonspiel. Teams from other Curling Clubs and teams from Dixie Curling Center are invited to join us for a day of curling, gambling and eating.
Begin your day with an eye opener continental breakfast before your first game. Have your energy restored with a lovely lunch before heading out for your second game. End the day with awards and Dinner. Our Casino games will be running before or after your lunch and you will be given “Dixie Dollars” (not real money) to join in on the fun. Our ever-popular raffle table will be on hand for your perusal, so don’t forget to bring a few extra dollars.

The Heart's 'N Brooms bonspiel is the annual bonspiel event run by Dixie's Social Mixed Curling section.
The one-day event offers 2 draws (a mixed division and a novice division). Two six-end games and one 4-end tankard game.
We want this to be a fun and engaging experience for players of all skill sets!
The $320 team entry fee includes: breakfast treats, snacks, lunch, dinner, prizes for the top teams and lucky draws throughout the day.
In this novice division, players must have no more than 6 years experience per person & have aggregate total experience of no more than 16 years as of Sept. 2026. Players may change positions during games/bonspiel..
Registration is limited to 12 teams.
Registration is not considered final until payment is made.
