We offer a large variety of leagues that accommodate a wide range of curlers. So, whether you’re a recreational player or someone competitive; if you’re 6, 106 or somewhere in-between, Dixie Curling is sure to have a league suitable for you.
The Dixie Curling Centre offers various daytime curling opportunities for men of all skill levels – from beginner to advanced. Participants are assigned to a team based on their curling experience and playing ability.
The Day Men’s program offers club league curling on Mondays and/or Friday mornings. The curling season for either league is comprised of four draws and playoffs (approximately 24 games).
The Wednesday Country Gentlemen is comprised of 24 to 28 Dixie Curlers, who elect to sign up, and compete against visiting teams from other clubs. There is a weekly fee to participate, collected at the door.
Curlers are invited to sign up for either Monday, Friday, both or all days. The men host two bonspiels throughout the season – The Gord Glazebrook Memorial in November, and The Apple Blossom two-day spiel in mid March.

This Men’s League plays every Wednesday alternating between 6:50pm and 9:10pm. The goal of the Wednesday night men’s league is to provide the best balance of competition, growth, and fellowship in a men’s-only league. Members register on an individual basis and are then placed on a team at the start of each draw. Players are assigned a playing position (lead, second, vice or skip) based on their skill level and indicated preference.
There are a total of four draws of roughly 6 games each. You will be placed on a new team at the beginning of each draw. The four draw winning teams will play a semi-final and final playoff at the end of the season to determine the league champions.
Some player re-positioning may be necessary in order to complete teams for each draw. This proven method enhances the social nature of the sport while structuring teams having similar skill levels for spirited play. The league welcomes those curlers who cannot commit to every Wednesday evening to sign up for the spare list. This league operates with a capacity of 48 curlers plus spares.
