Introducing the Dixie Curling Centre Club Championship
Dixie Curling Centre is excited to announce the launch of our new Club Championship Tournament, a competition designed to determine who will represent DCC at the Ontario Club Championship Qualifiers.
What is the Club Championship?
The Club Championship will be an annual event open to eligible Dixie Curling Centre members, featuring separate Men's and Women's divisions. Teams will compete to earn the opportunity to represent DCC at a Club Championship Qualifier event (Spring or Fall) which leads to the Ontario Club championships and on to the the Nationals.
New Qualification Structure
Under the new framework:
- Women's Division: Two qualifying spots will continue to be available for Dixie representatives.The top two finishing teams in the tournament will qualify.
- Men's Division: One spot will be awarded through the Monday Night Men's League championship process (as outlined in the current Monday Night Men's Rules Package), and a second spot will be awarded through the new Club Championship event.
